- Specifically, it is quite reasonable to do this with IMAP; that is what the
- whole BBOARD functionality is all about (not just netnews). The c-client
- software isn't quite capable of doing this yet, though.

- However, the changes needed to make it capable are fairly trivial. The
- discussion going on is which of a set of possible implementation choices to
- pick to accomplish it.
